All the Books – #2

Hi everyone!

Today feels like a good day to post an update on how I am progressing with my TBR. Having unsuccessfully attempted to limit my purchases (I blame the discovery of a new bookshop for that!) and then trying out book subscription boxes for the very first time, I do not think I have made much of a dent in my TBR.

When I first completed my count up I had 452 books to read. This is what has happened since:

Books that found their way onto my bookshelves:

Subscription Boxes
Having seen some great unboxings on BookTube I was really keen to try these out 😊 Anyone who has seen my instagram page knows that these have become one of my favourite bookish things. At the moment I am still looking for my favourite.

ARC
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Corrupt Me from Jillian Quinn. And I really enjoyed it too!

Purchases
I discovered a new bookshop, and could not resist making a few purchases along the way 😊

Books I Read:

Off the Shelf
These were the first books I read in my (almost) fortnightly Off the Shelf posts.

ARC
Like I said above, I really enjoyed this one.

And the rest…

This leaves me with a TBR of 454 books.

All in all, this has not quite gone to plan – I now have more books on my TBR then when I started πŸ˜‚ Not to mention I have asked only for books for Christmas, so this could get worse before it gets better πŸ˜„

Is your TBR under control? Have you got any tips for helping me to get my TBR under control? Book buying bans do not seem to work for me as I become obsessed with a need to buy books, what works well for you?

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Sarah
